Steve H. Grimshaw

Chairman of the Board

Steve Grimshaw, former Caliber CEO, spearheads the Caliber Board of Directors. Since joining Caliber Collision in 2009, the company has experienced exponential growth, including adding Caliber Auto Care, Caliber Auto Glass and Protech to their lines of business. Steve encourages philanthropic development as well as business growth. He continues to support the Restoring You programs, which are tightly woven into the fabric of the Caliber culture. Steve graduated from the University of South Carolina at Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in political science.

David Simmons

David Simmons joined Caliber in March 2023 as CEO. David has a diverse background leading large, multinational organizations in the pharmaceutical industry and brings a wealth of experience to Caliber's next phase of growth. He previously served as CEO of PPD, where he led the company's global workforce of more than 30,000 employees across 46 countries. Prior to PPD, David spent 15 years at Pfizer as the President of emerging markets and established product business units. David proudly hails from West Virginia, where he spent a decade in the steel industry. As a people-focused leader, David is known for his humility and harkens to his blue-collar roots to guide him.

David Dart

David Dart joined Caliber in December 2022 as Chief People Officer. In this role, he leads all facets of teammate services, including career and leadership development, recruiting, and human resource operations. David comes to Caliber from Terminix Global Holdings, where he oversaw the development of HR analytics to drive decisions around key metrics, ultimately improving teammate retention and the front-line teammate experience as the Chief HR Officer. Before Terminix Global Holdings, David built a distinguished career serving in various leadership positions with privately held, mid-size and Fortune 500 companies. David holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan, where he is still an enthusiastic UM athletics fan. He proudly served in the Navy from 1992 to 1999.

Ashley Denison

Ashley Denison is in charge of executing and implementing business IT strategies across all lines of business. Under Ashley’s leadership, Caliber’s home-grown legacy systems transformed into state-of-the-art management, estimating, financial and cloud-based platforms. Ashley’s highly strategic work has positively impacted Caliber teammates and improved the Caliber customer experience, as evidenced by our industry-leading NPS scores. Before joining Caliber, Ashley served as Director of Global Information Technology at AMX. Ashley graduated from the University of Louisiana - Lafayette.

Todd Dillender

Chief Operating Officer

Todd Dillender was promoted to Chief Operating Officer for Caliber Collision in February 2023 and is instrumental in driving market growth and aligning with our strategic partners to better serve our communities. Since 1992, Todd has successfully worked in nearly every center-level position. He started out as a shop helper, then detailer, a body tech helper, painter, service advisor and ultimately served in various leadership positions, such as general manager and regional manager, as well as most recently, Executive Vice President, Operations, where he oversaw Caliber Collision’s west region, covering 11 states. He’s been integral in spearheading and guiding highly strategic, proprietary projects that scaled throughout the organization, including Caliber’s Technician Apprentice Program and developing a comprehensive electric vehicle training program for auto body technicians. With his extensive experience and leadership skills, along with deep knowledge of the Caliber business, Todd will successfully continue supporting field operations in restoring the rhythm for our teammates, customers, and partners.

Hami Ebrahimi

Chief Commercial Officer

Hami Ebrahimi was promoted to Chief Commercial Officer for Caliber in June 2023 and is responsible for ensuring maximum growth strategy through the integration of demand generation capabilities.  Hami joined the Caliber operations team in 2020, facilitating the rapid expansion of our diagnostics and calibration business, as well as overseeing our auto glass operations before assuming the role of Chief Strategy Officer in February 2022. Prior to joining Caliber, he worked extensively with the business through our partnership with OMERS Private Equity. He began his career at Deloitte Consulting and has a long record of leadership success with several companies, including Bain & Company. Hami graduated with honors, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from INSEAD in France and Singapore.

David Goldstein

David Goldstein oversees the exciting growth opportunities and operations for Caliber Auto Care, Caliber Auto Glass and Protech Automotive Solutions. David has been a tireless leader and culture-champion with Caliber for over 20 years. His focus on these emerging businesses opens the door to nearly unlimited growth possibilities and creates significant opportunities for our teammates to reach their full potential with new career paths. David initially joined Caliber as a body technician in 1997 through an acquisition and rapidly grew to hold leadership positions of Center Manager, Senior Vice President of Operations, Chief Talent Officer, Chief Operating Officer and was named Chief Growth Officer in 2022. David is a graduate of the UCLA Anderson Executive Program. David began his career in the collision repair industry in 1988 as a technician on Long Island, New York.

Ken Hanley

Chief Development Officer

Ken Hanley is responsible for acquisitions and development for all business lines at Caliber. In addition, Ken oversees the integration department along with construction and facilities, which includes planning, design and implementation of processes that support the exponential growth the company has experienced in the last 10 years. Ken joined Caliber Collision in 2013 when he sold his chain of stores, Hanley Brothers Auto Specialists, which included multiple certifications from manufactures like Audi, Mercedes Benz, Porsche, and Tesla. Ken is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in finance and economics and is fluent in Spanish.

Shawn Hezar

Chief Client Officer

Shawn Hezar is the Chief Client Officer of Caliber with over 37 years of experience in the automotive collision industry with deep roots across insurance carriers. Shawn has guided client relationship efforts through Caliber’s 8-year period of unprecedented growth. Under his leadership Caliber has maintained excellent and growing client relationships while ensuring Caliber foresees industry trends and is well positioned to provide practical solutions. The designing of Caliber’s customized value proposition and his strong penchant for collaboration stem from his legacy of transformation and intimate, hands-on perspective from launching start-ups as well as owning and operating multi-locations. Shawn is a graduate of UCLA’s Anderson School for Executive Management and serves on several insurance boards.

Greg Nichols

Chief Administrative Officer & General Counsel

Greg Nichols oversees all legal, risk management, regulatory and mergers and acquisitions. Since joining Caliber in 2011, Greg has successfully guided Caliber through the company’s impressive growth for nearly a decade. Prior to joining Caliber, he served as SVP Human Resources at Blockbuster and has held numerous positions, counseling and guiding companies through mergers and acquisitions. Greg graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami. Greg also has an MBA from the University of Tampa - John H. Sykes College of Business and a BA in Psychology from the University of Central Florida.

Judd Nystrom

Chief Financial Officer

Judd Nystrom manages the planning and implementation of finance activities, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiation for all Caliber lines of business. Before joining Caliber, he held several financial roles, including Chief Financial Officer of At Home, a home décor retailer. Judd also spent time in senior financial roles at Advance Auto Parts and Best Buy. Judd is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management and currently serves on the Board of Overseers.
